On the contrary, gamers are still experiencing problems with Rockstar Games’ new online experience, only now they are from inside the game. Luckily, Rockstar is still working on improving the GTA Online experience, and working on yet another update for the consoles.

For starters, gamers having been reporting missing items from their Grand Theft Auto Online character’s inventory. Everything from cars to money to clothing can apparently disappear with little to no explanation. Our own Ben Kendrick, for example, found his inventory completely wiped out not once but twice.

While many gamers have decided to restart a character, or simply continue on undeterred, there are still those gamers who hope to have their progress restored. And for those gamers we have some positive news: Rockstar is working on it.

In addition to the pressing matter of missing items, Rockstar has also released a list of known issues that were not corrected by the previously released two updates (one single player and one multiplayer). Most of those involve server connection problems and long load screens, but check out the full list below:

Despite a very successful launch week, Grand Theft Auto 5 has come under significant scrutiny for the decidedly less successful launch of Grand Theft Auto Online earlier this month. Rockstar has been presumably working around the clock to correct many of the issues with the online experience, but there still appears to be a fair amount of kinks to work out, leaving many gamers disappointed as a result.

Even those who can finally get past the Grand Theft Auto Online tutorial mission — the apparent choke point for getting online — have found that more problems are awaiting them on the other side. Hopefully once this next update goes live things will have smoothed over enough for gamers to finally enjoy GTA Online worry free. Rockstar has not released a timetable for this update, but we will keep you posted if and when there are any further updates.
