The Netflix documentary is mostly about the preparation for her joint Super Bowl half-time show with Shakira, but the “Waiting for Tonight” singer was also in the midst of the campaign trail for her 2019 movie Hustlers. Hustlers, in which she portrayed a stripper-turned-scammer named Ramona, saw Lopez getting some of her best reviews as an actor since the late 1990s – in fact, the movie was her first rated “fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes since 1998’s Antz (in which she had a voice role) and Out of Sight....

There was no mention or appearance of the multiplayer customization mode in the official Master Chief Collection reveal presentation earlier this week, which left many gamers curious about whether or not it would be accessible. Joystiq spoke to 343 Industries Franchise Development Director Frank O’Connor about Forge Mode’s absence from the presentation and he confirmed that the developers have not forgotten about Forge mode… O’Connor went on to explain that that preservation of the original gameplay experience for all games included in the bundle is incredibly important to the team....

Fox released its NFL announcer pairings for the 2016 season Tuesday afternoon. The most prominent name missing was that of Siragusa, the Super Bowl-winning defensive lineman who worked Fox’s NFL coverage for 12 seasons. In fact, thanks to digital games industry analyst Superdata we’ve learned of another way Grand Theft Auto 5 is beating out other newer video games. According to the analyst, the newest Grand Theft Auto game made $31.8 million in January from digital sales, which includes Xbox Live and PSN sales, DLC content, and microtransactions. We estimate one of the biggest factors in this success was that Xbox One gamers were able to grab the game on Xbox Live for under $20 in the early part of January....

However, with so much to cover in only a short amount of time, the Grand Theft Auto 5 gameplay trailer left a lot to the imagination. Customization for example, was briefly teased, but not outright detailed. Thankfully Lead Mission Designer Imran Sarwar was on hand to answer a few post-trailer questions as they pertain to customization. Specifically, Sarwar provided additional information as to how players will be able to customize their weapons and vehicles in Grand Theft Auto 5....

Previously known as the Spike Video Game Awards (VGAs), the show has had a lick of paint over the last year being re-branded as VGX. While it put bigger focus on reveals such as a new generation remaster of Tomb Raider and Telltale Games taking on both Game of Thrones and Borderlands episodic series, the entire affair was still framed by awards. Today we have learned that two games are adding their names to the GOTY crowd: Halo 4, 343 Industries’ first foray into the world of the Master Chief, and Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software’s loot-obsessed FPS sequel. Of course, as the name suggests, a title needs to have earned some prestigious accolades in order to be eligible for a Game of the Year Edition (or does it?), but we think both games are well deserved....

While gamers everywhere anxiously await more new information on the impending sci-fi blockbuster, we can’t help but want to look over the concept art that helped set the stage for the fourth appearance of the iconic Master Chief. 343 Industries has spared no expense on any of the concept art that has been released to the public. Much of it debuted in the April issue of Game Informer magazine, as many dedicated Halo fans will immediately point out, but there are a few within the gallery that are so new that their digital paint has yet to even dry....

For the worried fans of this potentially blow to the game’s production and quality, Payton’s departure has not affected development of Halo 4 in an adverse way, according to 343 Industries’ franchise development director, Frank O’Connor. We had earlier talked about about Payton and his Halo 4 departure, who gave his own thoughts about his leaving 343 Industries, but O’Connor went into what that meant, or rather didn’t mean for Halo 4’s development....
