Past titles in the Halo series have proven to be veritable gold mines for achievement hunters that proudly display their Gamerscore like their big-game-hunting ancestors. While many of the most difficult, elusive or downright random achievements make no difference to a large segment of Halo players, there’s no denying the fact that Bungie turned the digital loot hunt into an art form. Both in terms of campaign progression on increasing difficulty, and the lunacy of online multiplayer....

However, there is at least one individual at 343 Industries who wasn’t content with his work on Halo 4, and has decided to leave the company. The ex-343 employee is none other than Creative Director Ryan Payton. Many may remember Payton for his work on Metal Gear Solid, before joining up with Microsoft to work on the Halo franchise, and the veteran’s involvement will surely be missed by fans of the franchise....

Named after the UNSC Charon-class light frigate on which Master Chief and Cortana find themselves at the end of Halo 3 (and the beginning of Halo 4), Forward Unto Dawn nevertheless doesn’t focus exclusively on those characters. Instead, the web-series tells the story of how Master Chief inspired a young cadet whose journey to becoming commander of the UNSC Infinity ties into the events of Halo 4, while also examining the origins of the war between humans and The Covenant....

This tank sequence looks to pack all that you would expect: destructible environments, off road traversal, and enemies from land and air. At the climax of the clip, Bond even runs a subway train off its wheels. Graphically speaking the game is major improvement over its N64 counterpart. The destructible environments seen in the trailer suggests that there is more to this game than your regular corridor FPS. Big action is definitely on the menu when it comes to this Wii update....
