First, a little back-story. Earlier this month it was revealed that Gran Turismo 6 would feature microtransactions, a first for the series. With these microtransactions, players would be able to use real money to purchase in-game currency and, in turn, buy better cars. However, the conversion rate for the in-game currency, called credits, was rather steep. Still, despite the gamer backlash over the Gran Turismo 6 microtransactions, Sony reaffirmed that all cars could be earned the traditional way, by progressing through the game’s career....

The success of GTA V has understandably caused quite a stir amongst both gamers and developers. Jonathan Morin, creative director of open-world hackathon Watch Dogs, said that he’s not interested in trying to emulate GTA V’s success by copying elements from Rockstar’s game, but Activision’s brand manager Kevin Flynn has pledged to “get the record back” with Call of Duty before the next GTA game is released. Flynn’s ambitious goal is getting ever harder to reach however, as GTA V’s sales continue to climb....

Last we heard about online heists, all Rockstar Games could say was that they were coming ‘soon,’ while neglecting to delve into specifics. Today however, the studio offers a little more information, revealing that online heists are now scheduled to come after the PS4 and Xbox One versions launch; specifically, in the game’s first update. Remember, online heists will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so no GTA Online player will be left out....

The upcoming PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V won’t just include new content for new and returning players to dig into. While that, combined with the improved visuals and bigger multiplayer were probably enough to entice many to make the return trip, Rockstar has implemented an entirely new feature for the upcoming version, which is sure to push people over the edge into “well, I guess I really need to get this again” territory....

It is important for any Guild Wars players to keep in mind that Guild Wars 2 is a complete overhaul of the original game. The unusual form of protest was directed at Glen Taylor, owner of the Timberwolves, who has a factory egg farm in Iowa. Where to watch Gossip Girl after it leaves Netflix Gossip Girl is expected to leave Netflix in order to come to HBO Max. There are a number of big clues that the series will be coming there soon. However, this all comes at a price. A title this well loved is, well, a little too mainstream for some. Thankfully, Rockstar has come up with a perfect solution for anyone wishing that Grand Theft Auto 5’s online multiplayer was a little more underground. They’ve released ‘I’m Not a Hipster’, a free DLC pack that allows players to express their “incredible individualism and stand out from the herd.” The new update brings an array of new clothing and customization options, including retro print tees, skinny jeans, tattoos, hairstyles and animal masks....
