While the GTA V versions look stunning when compared to the blocky, and downright ugly, depictions in San Andreas, it’s still interesting to see how Rockstar Games pays homage to its past series. Obviously drawing comparisons between certain locations in San Andreas and those in GTA V might be a bit of a stretch (kind of like trying to hear Ray Liotta’s voice in the trailer when the actor has clearly denied it’s him), but, on the whole, this comparison trailer is pretty eye-opening....
For the two aforementioned games, the outages were a big problem; both Destiny and Grand Theft Auto offer users content that’s only available during a specific time period. Every weekend, a character named Xur shows up in Destiny and allows players to trade “Strange Coins” for better gear. With the servers down, gamers couldn’t visit Xur and get their weekly items. Grand Theft Auto Online’s content was even more special: Rockstar’s Festive Surprise update covered Los Santos in snow and offered players an once-in-a-lifetime assortment of gifts - but only if they could log in on Christmas....
First off, it looks like the actor portraying the main character has been revealed to be Ned Luke. OPM UK has scoured the internet to find that Mr. Luke, a relatively unknown actor (although we loved his portrayal of Raffles in Rover Dangerfield) doesn’t just match the voice of the trailer’s narrator, but the physical appearance of the suited man pictured within it. That hope hasn’t waned one bit either, but has actually grown. So much so that the fan petition for GTA 5 to come to the PC has accumulated more than 650,000 signatures. Last we had heard, the Grand Theft Auto 5 petition was somewhere in the vicinity of 550,000 signatures, and that was back in October of last year. Lucas joined the cast of the long-running ABC drama when the medical show returned to screens on Thursday, October 6. The series, which stars Ellen Pompeo as lead character Meredith Grey, has enlisted a whole new batch of new characters for the new installment, and one has a family connection to a very familiar face on the show.
