John Carpenter, director of the original Halloween, who composed the music for the 2018 version with his son Cody, made the announcement on Twitter. “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode isn’t over,” he wrote. Nothing has yet been revealed about the new entries in the saga, save for release dates and titles. The first Halloween sequel, Halloween Kills will be released on October 16, 2020, which will be followed by Halloween Ends on October 15, 2021....

When the news first broke, many people were worried that 343 Industries had implemented some sort of motion-based control scheme for Anniversary, which would have likely ruined the attempt to remain faithful to the original Halo. After the outbreak of concern, 343 Industries quickly assured everyone that the Kinect features would not affect the core gameplay experience. In fact, gamers probably shouldn’t dwell on the Kinect component too much anyway....

The Red Devils have brought an end to their pursuit of a new permanent manager. They have confirmed that Ajax coach Ten Hag will take charge of the club ahead of the 2022-23 season. Authorities responded to an active shooter alert at around 10 a.m. local time, El Paso Police Sgt. Robert Gomez said at a news conference on Saturday, after a gunman reportedly opened fire inside a Walmart this morning, causing multiple fatalities. El Paso Mayor Dee Margo tweeted a police statement confirming “several fatalities and multiple suspects in custody” earlier today. During the news conference, Gomez said one white male in his 20s had been taken into police custody....

There certainly has been a lot of smoke, which might be why things are still so unclear. From the concept art for Half-Life 2: Episode 3 that was released last summer to Valve’s recent teases of three upcoming announcements (none of which turned out to be related to Half-Life 3), it could be said that Half-Life 3 has been the subject of the most drawn-out and perennially effective viral marketing campaign in history - all for a game that might not even be in development at all....

In some respects, Microsoft’s plan to increase the Xbox One’s sales has worked. It’s little wonder then that GTA V has been such a critical success on both PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as current gen (it was re-released for PS4 and Xbox One in November) with critics praising developer and publisher Rockstar Games’ attention to detail and the fact that GTA V’s fictional world of Los Santos was packed with things to do. What is a shame however, is that the well reviewed game has yet to be experienced by GTA fans on PC....

Today, however, we have news that should put gamers disappointed by the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online at ease: an update is on the way. Rockstar confirmed the patch with an addendum to their previous post saying that the update should go live as early as tomorrow, October the 4th. While Rockstar did not provide any details for the patch, presumably it would smooth over all of the more prevalent issues....
